Pledge 1% June Session
What makes networks work well to achieve high impact? Pledge 1% Builders, a cohort of tech companies at the forefront of social impact initiatives, recently convened in San Francisco to discuss and learn from experts and each other. The focus of the day was strategies for building stakeholder alignment to achieve impact goals.
The companies represented included Adobe, box, Twilio, Zoom, and more:

Peer-led sessions and expert insights came back to a common theme of trust and shared values. Having trust within a network of nonprofits, companies, government, and others can lead to fast action when it’s needed most. A constellation of partners contributing to a larger vision, not just one star who tries to do it all, is necessary to mobilize resources effectively.
Why we Care
At LiquiDonate, we’re building an ecosystem of trusted partners through our donors and recipient networks, making circularity an easy choice over disposal. Collaboration with our partners is key to make this new system successful: solving the problem of unsellable inventory by matching goods with organizations in need. We’re working with brands who really believe in making a better impact, and fortunately with our tech they can also benefit from cost savings and emissions reductions.
