Sustainability in Sports Leadership
Sustainability in sports may not be top of mind for fans, but leaders from Nascar, NHL, and the NBA were all present to talk about what they are doing today to improve sporting arenas and events around the world. Solutions from reusable cup programs to installing solar power for clean energy were topics of discussion. LiquiDonate is proud to partner with sports teams and organizations around the country today to donate additional giveaway items, excess inventory, office supplies, out-of-season merchandise, and even boxes of lost and found products. Not only are we matching and moving goods to our nonprofit partners, we also provide teams with metrics and impact reporting to support their sustainability goals.
"Love this impact report and how detailed it is about the weights and non-profits we donated to. Thank you so much for sharing and putting it together."- Professional Sports Franchise & LiquiDonate Donor

Conference attendees included representatives from Disney, Levi’s, Nike, Sacramento Kings, and many more. At the end of the conference, LiquiDonate partnered with Wicked Foods, Eco-Sports, CornNext, and others to donate excess inventory and supplies no longer needed to the local community.
What’s next in actions to improve sustainability in sports? Green Sports Day is October 6, 2024 and LiquiDonate invites teams and arenas to connect with LiquiDonate around the United States for a mass redistribution of goods to their communities.
